Oppose Trump’s Ban on Transgender Troops Serving in the Military:

Late Friday evening, while everyone was obsessed with the Stormy Daniels story, the White House and Pentagon announced that all transgender individuals with a history of gender dysphoria or who have undergone gender transition will be disqualified from military service. Final details remain unclear, including whether this applies to future enlistments or those currently serving, but once again Trump is attacking qualified people who simply want nothing more than to serve their country. Previous court injunctions prevented the initial ban from going into effect, but the Department of Justice is prepared to defend the new version in federal court.

Hi, I'm a constituent from _____________ and I'm calling to ask Rep./Sen _____________ to denounce the Trump Administration's ban on transgender Americans serving in the military. These dedicated Americans should have the right to serve their country even if they need special medical care. It is unacceptable for Trump, the Pentagon, and Defense Secretary Mattis to strip them of these rights, and taking qualified soldiers off their post will negatively affect military readiness. Thank you for taking my call.

Answers from Tillis on Cambridge Analytica:

Senator Tillis has been more directly implicated in the Cambridge Analytica scandal. His campaign may have been the beneficiary of data obtained by Cambridge Analytica during the 2014 election. As you will no doubt recall, Tillis had a closely contested election with Kay Hagan in one of the most expensive Senate elections in US history. WRAL is reporting that North Carolina voters were among the first in the U.S. to be targeted by Cambridge Analytica, which boasted that its "psychographic data" could be used to build personality profiles of voters and target individualized political ads at them to influence their behavior. WRAL is also reporting that Tillis’s campaigned paid CA $30,000 and that the North Carolina Republican Party paid it another $150,000. So far, Tillis has dodged questions about his use of CA data and even bolted from the Senate floor to avoid reporters. Let’s demand some answers.

Script for Tillis:
Hello, I am a constituent calling from _________________ to demand answers from Senator Tillis about his use of data from Cambridge Analytica. Why did Senator Tillis pay $30,000 to Cambridge Analytica in 2014? Was he aware that Cambridge Analytica was using the private personal data of social media to create targeted advertisements? Does Senator Tillis think it is appropriate that Cambridge Analytica was using information in this way?
