FEDERAL:

Dreamers and their families are running out of time. Our only action today is to flood the phones, emails, resistbot of our Senators to save the Dreamers.

CALL CONGRESS AND DEMAND A CLEAN DREAM ACT NOW!

When Trump revoked DACA in September, he claimed he would support legislation to protect Dreamers, and gave Congress 6 months to come up with a “solution.” That six-month mark is in just a few weeks, and Congress still has not passed the bipartisan, popularly supported DREAM Act.

Monday night, the Senate voted to proceed with open debate on a “shell” bill that could be amended to address both border security and Dreamers.

Mitch McConnell has already thrown a wrench in the process by blocking Chuck Schumer's request to vote on a pair of DACA bills. This is wasting precious hours in a process that McConnell said must be completed this week before they break for a President's Day recess.

For this process to actually result in a clean bill that protects DACA recipients without caving to Trump’s extreme anti-immigration demands, we need to FLOOD THE LINES of our Senators!

SCRIPT for Senate:

Hi, my name is _______ and I’m a constituent from zip code _______. I'm calling to strongly urge Senator ________ to support a clean DREAM Act and oppose any bill that imposes inhumane restrictions on legal immigration, or funds a border wall.  This administration needs to stop holding these young people hostage and using them ad bargaining chips for a wall that Trump said Mexico would pay for. This is disgusting and will be a stain on anyone that supports such an horrendous act. We need a CLEAN DREAM ACT now. Thank you for taking my call.
